Sage Patanjali's Yog Sutra (the ancient master text of yoga) defines Yoga as 'Yog Chitta Vritti Nirodh' i.e Yoga is calming the fluctuations of the mind. The mind dimension is the third dimension which is the 'Manomaya Kosha'. While considering this dimension we not only talk about the thoughts arising in your mind but also the emotions arising in your heart.
